My client had her first experience of hypnosis last week, and reported feeling somewhat sceptical, but open to giving it a go.
She decided to make notes of all the changes she noticed as the week progressed, and here they are:
Despite a fridge full of Easter chocolate, she ate only 1 or 2 Easter eggs a day – in the past there would have been no restraint.
When buying fuel, usually a pack of mentos or lollies would have been purchased – this week she left the petrol station before even realising that she hadn’t bought sweets, and in addition, felt no regret.
No dessert after dinner all week- highly unusual apparently.
Swapped 2-3 cups of tea a day with 2 sugars, for about one a day with just one spoon of honey.
At a weekly family dinner made good choices: instead of a crumbed chicken sandwich with salad, only chicken with salad and no stopping on the way home for dessert.
When her partner offered her chocolate she declined, feeling comfortable, and did not feel like doing him harm when he ate his chocolate in front of her!
Chose grapes as a snack when working from home despite a fridge full of Easter chocolate.
All this after only one hypnosis session, and the biggest win she said was there was no fight internally – a lot more free time in her brain.
